Date of article: 24-Mar-10 Founded in November 2009, the CPBF provides assistance to individuals currently working in the care sector to relieve financial hardship and sickness through grants, advice and guidance. Those who have formerly worked in the sector are also supported, as are their dependents. Commenting on the partnership, Craegmoor’s CEO, Ted Smith, said: “Craegmoor recognises that without the work of dedicated care professionals, organisations such as ours would not be able to function. We want to show our thanks and commitment to these people who have been, and continue to be, instrumental in shaping so many people’s lives. “I want to encourage people to find out more about the CPBF, get involved in fundraising events and apply for grants and advice if they are struggling.” Guy Bosanko, Chair of the CPBF said: “I want to thank Ted Smith and Craegmoor for their significant contribution to the CPBF and for joining other leading support providers in becoming a Founding Member. “2010 looks set to be a very exciting year for us with lots of fundraising events taking place, the money from which will allow the CPBF to make a positive difference to the lives of past and present care professionals in the UK.” |
