CPBF Charity Golf Day is another resounding success

The sun shone brightly on the annual CPBF Charity Golf Day, held at Glorious Goodwood on Friday 2nd September.

Nearly 30 golfers competed over the sweeping South Downs course with one or two struggling with the fearsome rough, some beat the challenges of the sloping lies and all failing abjectly on the cruel greens!

Emerging to victory through the heat haze was Paul Rostand from the Menzies Accountants’ Team with a fine 38 points.

The team prize went to Milkwood Care, Tom Cheesman took the longest drive and Gareth Francis from South Wales took the nearest the pin award – again!

A great dinner was enjoyed by golfers and guests in the Kennels restaurant.

The great news is that £4,034 was raised for the CPBF which will help care professionals in need.
