The CPBF receives continued support

The Great British Care Awards has once again shown its support to the Care Professionals Benevolent fund and to UK care workers by raising over £3,000 on behalf of the charity.

The GBCA staged a series of 9 regional events in 2010 to celebrate excellence within the sector at local venues up and down the country, 3 more than in 2009. The winners of each region will now battle it out in the National finals held in London in June 2011. The Care Professionals Benevolent Fund was privileged to be a nominated charity for the awards series again in 2010 with each event culminating in an auction of one Jeroboam of French rose wine. The single highest bid was for £700 made by the Renaissance Personnel team at the Great London Care Awards held at the Emirate’s Stadium on the 14th October.

‘Once again the Great British Care Awards has shown its dedication and appreciation to UK care workers, not only by putting on 9 fabulous events but by also raising money for a charity that supports the needs of carers.
